SCHOOL!

I finally am old enough to go to school two afternoons per week. This picture was taken on one of my first days at school and I was still a little shy. Very strange, when mummy takes my picture I always laugh. This time I forgot how to do so.

At school I am very busy: I play with the other children, I read books with the books-teacher, I learn to sing many songs, I make beautiful drawings and many more nice stuff. I like school very much and I count the nights I can go again!

Classmates!

These are my classmates and ofcourse my teacher. As you could read above, I was a little shy the day the photographer came and the teacher took me on her lap. What a smart thing being shy.

Some of the children have left for Kindergarten, but the the new kids soon became my friends as well.

Ready, Steady, Go!

Every time I go to school, mummy packs some fruit and a drink in my schoolbag.

My teacher tells me I have to wait until I finished eating the part I have in my mouth before taking the next piece of fruit, but playing all afternoon makes me very hungry and thirsty...

Sinterklaas!

In The Netherlands, December the 5th,
we celebrate 'Sinterklaas'. It is similar to Santa Claus. We all got a celebration hat and then Sinterklaas came to our classroom with his group of 'zwarte pieten'. After we sang to him, we all got a big present!

Do you like my Sinterklaas and my 'zwarte piet' ? I made them myself at school.
